Justin Helland is a Berklee College of Music graduate and San Diego native. He possesses the ability to perform a diverse and eclectic range of musical styles. His particular passion is Brazilian samba and jazz as well as traditional Irish music. A lifelong interest and curiosity in music of all styles and eras has led him to develop his skills on a diverse range of instruments from guitar, mandolin, fiddle, accordion, and Irish tin whistle to ocarina, pandero, and various percussion instruments.

Justin is the head audio engineer at Wise King Media in Poway, CA. He is currently recording the kid's adventure series Jonathan Park. He also adds his expertise to Weathertop Studios in recording a variety of projects and music styles.

Justin is involved in a variety of music projects around San Diego. You can see his Irish, bluegrass, and folk styling at O'Sullivan's Pub in Carlsbad or Escondido. He is also performing with William Wilson promoting a new album of flamenco and ukulele. In addition, Justin frequently plays with Peter Pupping at private events and assists with the Encinitas Guitar Orchestra. Check out his events page for upcoming dates!
